Everyone is looking for a good smartphone but some people are on a budget without a lot of money and some people just don’t want to spend a lot of money on a smartphone. If you are one of those people than that is great and you have come to the right place. There are so many smartphones out there on the market today it can be hard to know what is good for the money that you spend and it can be hard to choose a phone because there is such a large range of smartphones available.
Today I am going to be helping you decide if the HTC One M8 is something that you might want to buy. There are so many brands and companies competing and there are scams left, right and centre. But don’t worry the HTC One M8 won’t let you down. Although there smartphones that are ten times better and upgraded than this phone it will still get your day to day tasks done quickly and easily. It is a fast and reliable phone that is decent quality with enough features for average users.

The HTC One M8 has a nice design that is fresh and clear and easy to see. It has a 5.0 inch Super LCD3 touchscreen display with a good resolution that is clear and easy to see. It has a 4 megapixel rear camera with a dual LED dual tone flash and 1080p and 720p HD video recording. There is also a 5 megapixel front facing camera with 1080p HD video recording. The phone takes decent photos and videos and it will be enough for the photos that you want to take at home day to day.
The HTC One M8 has 2GB of RAM and 16GB or 32GB internal storage depending on which one you choose. The internet storage can be expanded using a Micro SDXC card. It is powered by Android 4.4.2 and it is upgradable to Android 6.0 The battery life will last a full day on a single charge even with heavy tasks. There is a loudspeaker and headphone jack and connectivity features including WiFi, WiFi hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, NFC, FM radio, USB 2.0, infrared port and more.

There are many benefits to using the HTC One M8 starting with the body and design because it looks great and it is easy to hold. It is comfortable in your hand and it is easy to use. The phone supports 3G and 4G networks which is easily enabled by an option in the settings which means that you will not have to upgrade your phone when 3G is switched off. The screen looks great and it is clear and easy to see. The phone is fast and reliable and the apps runs smoothly and perform well.
The cameras take decent photos and videos which is good enough for you to use every day and there is a decent amount of internal storage that can also be expanded using a Micro SDXC card. The battery life will last a full day on a single charge even with heavy tasks and there is an extreme power saving mode. The phone supports quick charging as well as fast charging and it has some of the best audio output on the market. It is a solid and reliable phone that won’t let you down.

After you receive your phone you will be able to put it on a bring your own phone plan. You can do this by buying and activating a sim card after inserting it into your phone and then putting some credit on it. When you buy the phone online it will come unlocked and ready to use with any sim card with any carrier without any problems or limitations which eliminates the need to pay an unlocking fee.
Is The HTC One M8 For Me?
The HTC One M8 is a great smartphone but it does have it`s positives and negatives just like all other smartphones starting with the body because it looks nice and it is comfortable to hold. The screen is clear and easy to see and the cameras take decent photos and videos. The phone supports 3G and 4G networks and the battery life will last a full day on a single charge even with heavy tasks. There is an FM radio and it can be used as a TV remote control and it has great audio output.
The downsides though start with the camera because there is no 4K video recording which some users want and the camera doesn’t match phones with higher resolution. There is no menu button and the power button is on top of the phone which is inconvenient for some users. There is no wireless charging or fingerprint scanner and the theme of the phone doesn’t work properly even when changing it to dark. Google can accidentally be launched by swiping up when unlocking the phone.

The HTC One M8 sounds like it would suit me well. I still have a few computers, tablets, laptop and I’m in the same location a lot so I don’t need to be as mobile in terms of having to access a lot of stuff while traveling. I do want a phone though that is reliable but not necessary for a lot of features that I may not use or have time to explore. If I were to purchase this, would I by throwing money away by buying more phone than I need?

Wonderful review about this HTC Smartphone.
I used to have HTC 816 and I really liked it! It did serve me around 4 years which is quite a long period of time.
I have heard some people saying that in this day and age of informational technology, with a lot of smart devices production, producers are manufacturing them in a way that a device will serve a limited amount of time (usually around a year), and then it will start broking or working improperly so that we are forced to buy another one.
What are your thoughts on this gossip?

Thank you for your comment Natallie! That is great about your HTC 816! Some phones do only last a year! I had a ZTE blade A462 smartphone that only lasted one year and then it stopped working and I had to get a new phone! I now use an Alcatel T 5033T and I have had it for over one year and it is still working fine! It really just depends on which phone that you get! Some will only last a year or less and some will 3-4 years or even more if you are lucky! Thank you again for your comment Natallie!
